Business Operations Specialist

As a Business Operations Specialist II on the Data and Technology Solutions team, you'll help DTS leaders run the business by providing structure, visibility, coordination, and follow-through across a broad range of domain areas including project and program management, data analysis, process improvement, business process analysis, and communications and change management.
Responsibilities
- Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for DTS-owned risks, including tracking quarterly mitigation activities and maintaining documentation and dashboards.
- Provide Internal Audit (IA) coordination and follow-up, tracking audit findings and remediation actions and ensuring timely leader awareness.
- Maintain operational dashboards, trackers, and scorecards to provide leadership visibility.
- Run-the-Business Enablement Support: Support DTS operating rhythms and recurring leadership forums; participate in and help coordinate DTS operations syncs; maintain and distribute management tools (e.g., checklists, calendars, reminders); ensure SharePoint sites and operational content remain current and accurate.
- Chief-of-Staff & Leadership Support: Collect, update, and track quarterly goals and key initiatives; support leadership and staff meeting agendas, facilitation, and follow-up; execute change, communications, and project work as directed by DTS leadership; ensure weekly management updates, consolidated intake, simplification efforts, and surveys are completed.
- Talent, Engagement, and Community Enablement: Coordinate talent development and recruiting initiatives (e.g., internships, co-op programs); support technology community partnerships, conferences, and sponsorships; coordinate learning and engagement programs such as TechConnect Deep Dives; track and support annual compliance and training activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, data analysis, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Benefits
The expected hiring range for a Business Operations Specialist II is $92,650-125,350 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $87,000-142,000.
