Business Operations Manager/Sr Manager

The Role

The Business Operations Manager / Senior Manager plays a significant role in building the functions to unlock growth and help the Company scale. Working directly with Whatnot's leadership team, this role will work cross-functionally to lead large, critical initiatives and solve complicated, unstructured problems.

Scale our marketing engine

• Bring business-side rigor to how capital is deployed, measured, and prioritized
• Deep-diving into complex channel decisions
• Building nascent capabilities
• Ensuring the org and hiring roadmap keeps pace with our ambitions

Deliver for our users

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate what we learn into initiatives that improve the buyer and seller experience
• Owning resolution of high-impact issues end-to-end when things go wrong

Nice to Have

• Experience working on a marketplace or a two-sided platform
• Experience or passion for buying and selling in online marketplace communities
• Proficiency with SQL & dashboards

Career Path

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field
• 5-6+ years experience in consulting, investment banking/private equity, or a fast-growing startup

Compensation

• Compensation For US-based applicants: $185,000/year - 215,000/year + benefits + stock options
• The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise.
