Business Operations Coordinator I or II (HR) (Time Limited)
This position is time-limited and expected to last through December 2026, not to exceed 2 years (24 months). It is posted at multiple levels; the successful candidate will be placed appropriately depending on education, skills, and experience.
About the role
The Business Operations Coordinator I or II supports operations of the District by coordinating varied tasks such as scheduling meetings or work activities, developing and maintaining documentation, working with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting with budget preparation. This role plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and serves as a first point of contact for employees and external HR customers.
This position helps keep HR running smoothly by managing the front desk, greeting walk-in visitors, answering the main HR phone line, monitoring shared HR email inboxes, and ensuring inquiries are routed to the appropriate team members. The role provides essential administrative and operational support across a variety of HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Process and distribute HR mail
- Complete employment verifications within established timelines
- Process invoices in SAP
- Coordinate Public Records Requests
- Administer tuition reimbursement activities
- Provide general office support such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, printing, copying, and setting up meeting spaces
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team by reviewing applications for minimum qualifications, scheduling interviews, and providing day-of interview support for candidates and hiring managers
Requirements
Business Operations Coordinator I ($35.90/hour - $44.87/hour)
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, IT, or related field; OR
- Two (2) years of office/clerical or customer service experience
Business Operations Coordinator II ($40.21/hour - $50.26/hour)
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, IT, or related field, AND two (2) years of office/clerical or customer service experience; OR
- Four (4) years of office/clerical or customer service experience

Schedule
This position works on-site Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Pay
Annual salary range: $74,679.00 - $104,550.00.
