About the role

This is a high-growth San Francisco startup building an AI-powered personal assistant in a wearable voice recorder that captures, transcribes, and organizes conversations in real time.

Responsibilities

• Build complex financial models and run analyses on pricing, unit economics, and cash flow to support strategic decision-making.
• Owes the monthly financial close process end-to-end, including reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring total accuracy for our accountants.
• Manage daily relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners, tracking orders and timelines to ensure a smooth global supply chain.

Requirements

• Bridges 1-3 years of experience from high-intensity environments like investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, or startup finance.
• Possesses deep financial rigor with the ability to build three-statement models and reason deeply about P&L and margin health.
• Is a self-directed operator who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast without overthinking, and takes full ownership of their work.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of success in a high-intensity environment.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis, including P&L and margin health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
