Business Operations Analyst

About the role

The Business Operations Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Data and Analytics, supports strategic initiatives and serves as a valued strategic business partner to regional decision makers. Key responsibilities include:

• Own strategic initiatives within the data & analytics department
• Build tools and reporting for facility leadership
• Review monthly Customer and Facility P&L data
• Model customer demand using forecasts
• Support FP&A with P&L review, QBR process, and ad hoc analysis
• Conduct cost analysis and perform other ad hoc analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide operational insights and data
• Support LEAN initiatives and cost savings
• Participate in facility-led LEAN initiatives
• Monitor customer performance
• Conduct pricing and solution design
• Support strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree related to information systems, analytics, business administration, computer science, statistics, or similar field
• Minimum of 3 years’ related work experience
• LEAN certifications preferred
• Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) preferred
• Experience with utilizing SQL for ad hoc analysis a plus
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance assigned projects, daily tasks, and ad-hoc analytics requests

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently
