Business Office Specialist, PRN, Outpatient
About the role
As a Business Office Specialist I, you will help provide a welcoming and positive experience for our patients while supporting the daily operations of the imaging center.
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Patient registration and check-out
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering phone calls
- Assisting patients with questions
- Maintaining patient records
- Helping with general office duties
- Working with the team to keep the center running smoothly
We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and a strong communicator.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Pay
$21 per hour
Schedule
Variable, based on staffing needs. This is an as-needed (PRN) position with no set or guaranteed hours. You will be part of our PRN coverage pool and may be contacted when additional coverage is needed due to PTO, employee illness, or other staffing needs.
