The Business Office Manager position is located at Oakleaf Village and The Grove, 5500 Karl Road, Columbus, OH. This role is part of Wallick Senior Living, a company committed to providing exceptional care and support for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Process Community billing and send monthly statements to Resident/POA.
- Collections – Process payments each month and follow up on late or incorrect payments from all payors.
- Maintain documents/data to assist Corporate Accounting in processing Medicaid claims/billing.
- Interface with staff on time keeping, personnel paperwork, and scheduling.
- Complete Resident Agreements and maintain Resident/Front Office filing systems.
- Supervise the day-to-day front office functions of receptionist.
- Process Accounts Payable. Coordinate with other departments on coding and processing.
- Maintain office and computer equipment within policies.
- Communicate significant issues with Regional BOM.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive office experience required.
- 2 years' previous management experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with co-workers, residents, family members and business partners.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
- Able to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment.
