We are currently looking for a full-time HR Director / Business Office Manager to join our team! Job Description Human Resource Director manages the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. The Business Office Manager (BOM) is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations of a long-term care facility to ensure accurate information for billing, resident account management, and regulatory compliance while supporting residents, families, and facility leadership. Essential Job Duties Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.Coordinates new employee onboarding and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.Administers workers' compensation program and works closely with carrier to ensure claims are processed in a timely manner.Administers the employee benefits program and assists with the annual employee benefits open enrollment process.Assists department managers with disciplinary procedures and ensure disciplinary actions are administered fairly and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Establishes, develops, and maintains employee personnel files.Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect, and promotes a caring environment.Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.Manages the payroll process.Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, and Managed Insurances processes. These processes will cover Medicaid applications, documentation requirements, Medicare practices, and Insurance Authorization processes.Knowledge of PCC is a plus.Responsible for management of the Resident Fund Management System.Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect, and promotes a caring environment.Direct Communication with the Billing Company regarding all Accounts Receivable accounts. Our preferred qualifications: Experience as office manager in healthcare setting preferred.Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.Software proficiency: working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Office is requiredExperience utilizing Point Click Care software is a plus!Must possess solid mathematical skills, strong organizational skills, and be detail oriented.High level of ability in effective and succinct communication, written and oral with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Preferred Education Two years’ experience in a H.R. role, preferably in a health care setting.Associate degree in accounting, healthcare administration or business management or high school diploma with at least 2 years of business office experience may be substituted of degree requirementPHR certification Job Type: Full-time We are an equal opportunity employer.
