Job Summary
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and new employee orientation.
- Manage employee relations and assist with performance and disciplinary matters.
- Administer employee benefits and support benefits enrollment processes.
- Care for payroll and maintain employee records.
- Care for workers' compensation claims and leave of absence programs.
- Support employee retention and engagement initiatives.
- Care for staff development and training programs.
Resident Accounts Responsibilities
- Verify resident payor sources and maintain accurate financial records.
- Aid residents and families with Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and other government payor programs.
- Care for resident billing information to ensure accurate month-end billing.
- Care for resident trust accounts in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
- Care for resident financial records and supporting documentation.
- Provide financial guidance and support to residents and families regarding coverage and payment options.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in human resources, business office management, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.
