About the role

This high visibility role directly supports senior leadership and is pivotal in scaling and driving operational excellence for CTC’s systematic trading business.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in building roadmaps, reviewing interdependencies, and helping with sequencing.
  • Support team members in breaking projects into smaller, incremental steps.
  • Track progress and drive accountability.
  • Anticipate project plan changes, escalate issues, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Enhance team communication by bringing key stakeholders together, re-centering focus, and defining next steps.
  • Develop a deep understanding of data processes and infrastructure.
  • Understand current and future data use cases and drive data requirements for model research.
  • Ensure consistency between research and production processes.
  • Collaborate with other businesses and departments to support technical upgrades and workflow optimization.
  • Optimize workflows by mapping end-to-end processes, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending enhancements or new tools.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by creating a collaborative environment that promotes problem-solving, high-quality delivery, and continuous process refinement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in systematic trading, quantitative/technical program management, or consulting in options/volatility strategies - or similarly complex environments.
  • Understanding of options risk (Greeks, volatility surfaces), internalization/externalization trade flows, and delta hedging fundamentals.
  • Proven track record in program and process management across engineering and trading, with expertise in OKRs, dependency mapping, and post-incident analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills - capable of producing clear, concise reports, making decisive recommendations, and driving swift execution.
  • Adaptive problem solver with a growth mindset - able to learn from setbacks, pivot quickly, and champion continuous improvement.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $175,000—$225,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance.

Schedule

Cross-functional teams at CTC, with the exception of Trading, typically follow a hybrid workplace model, subject to change based on business needs.
