Salary: $50,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (9:30 AM–6:30 PM)
Business Manager – School Operations & Family Support
The Learning Experience – Upper West Side is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Business Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our early childhood education center.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the center
- Welcome prospective and current families while providing exceptional customer service
- Support enrollment, tours, registration, and family onboarding
- Aid with tuition billing, payments, and administrative recordkeeping
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and maintain accurate student and employee records
- Cook up office supplies, vendor communications, and administrative processes
- Partner with center leadership to support enrollment growth and family retention
- Ensure compliance with company policies and New York State licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Previous office administration or business management experience required
- Childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work the scheduled shift of 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
