Business Manager (Early Childhood Education)

The Learning Experience – Upper West Side, New York, NY

Salary: $50,000 per year

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (9:30 AM–6:30 PM)

Business Manager – School Operations & Family Support

The Learning Experience – Upper West Side is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Business Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our early childhood education center.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily administrative operations of the center
• Welcome prospective and current families while providing exceptional customer service
• Support enrollment, tours, registration, and family onboarding
• Aid with tuition billing, payments, and administrative recordkeeping
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and maintain accurate student and employee records
• Cook up office supplies, vendor communications, and administrative processes
• Partner with center leadership to support enrollment growth and family retention
• Ensure compliance with company policies and New York State licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Previous office administration or business management experience required
• Childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work the scheduled shift of 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
