About the role

Join Barclays as a Business Manager - International Corporate Bank. At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will support the U.S. Institutional Corporate Bank coverage team, working closely with Relationship Directors who oversee multiple client segments and treasury constructs.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leaders with operating and administrative tasks.
  • Implement and execute long-term strategic change initiatives.
  • Shape and execute demand pipeline and book of work strategies.
  • Provide strategic insight and thought leadership.
  • Guide and support operational efficiency and colleague/customer/client experience.
  • Manage people plan, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage compliance activities such as SMR and crisis management.
  • Enable oversight of risk management and compliance.
  • Control costs and manage workforce.
  • Partner with other functions and business areas.
  • Take responsibility for end results of team's operational processing and activities.
  • Escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately.
  • Adopt and implement new policies/procedures for risk mitigation.
  • Influence decision-making within own area of expertise.
  • Manage and resolve problems through technical expertise.
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex/sensitive information.
  • Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function.

Requirements

  • Advanced data analysis skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and databases (Copilot experience preferred).
  • Ability to work with large, dynamic datasets and produce clear, actionable reporting.
  • Finance or business management background with prior experience supporting a coverage team.
  • Considerable prioritization and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with ample attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or business management.
  • Advanced degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with large, evolving datasets and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

Commensurate with experience.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $75,000
Maximum Salary: $95,000
