Business Manager

Responsibilities

• Directs and provides financial guidance in support of business operations and performance management.
• Collaborates with operations leadership in developing and monitoring relevant financial performance metrics and financial data to determine profitability and identify areas for improvement.
• Provides financial guidance and support and collaborates with operations leadership in managing the revenue and expense functions within their areas of responsibility.
• Works with other corporate financial service departments and staff to assist with data analysis, reporting, budgeting and in-depth analysis of material financial performance variances.
• Collaborates with other department managers in supporting the operations of the Service Lines or entities.
• As appropriate, works as a team with other Business Managers on financial projects or process improvement initiatives for the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required, Masters Degree Preferred.
• Work Experience: 5 years Required.
• Licenses: Certified Public Accountant upon hire, preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Min Field Of Expertise: Healthcare or business administration; Medical Group Practice knowledge preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, managerial and computer skills. Able to work well in a team environment as a member and/or leader. Able to accept responsibility. Thorough knowledge of relevant specialty areas. Analytical and logical approach to solving problems.
