About the role
St. Ambrose Parish, Annandale, Virginia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to provide administrative and operational support to the Pastor and parish leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Developing and managing the parish annual budget
- Overseeing all accounting and financial operations for the parish and school
- Establishing and monitoring effective internal financial controls, compliance, and risk management practices
- Supervising human resource functions and personnel administration
- Cooking maintenance, repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects for parish facilities and grounds
- Managing major procurements, vendor relationships, and service contracts
- Supporting stewardship initiatives and promoting sound fiscal management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA and CPA highly desired
- Five years of experience in finance, accounting, or business management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and database management systems
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team-building abilities
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong understanding of parish life and mission
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
