About the role

St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, a large and growing Catholic community located in the heart of Leesburg, Virginia has an immediate opening for a full-time (30+ hours per week) Business Manager to provide administrative support to the pastor in the areas of financial management and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform all finance and accounting functions of the church and parish cemetery, including internal controls, cash management, payroll, financial reporting, and the budget process.
• Coordinate internal audits.
• Support the parish finance council.
• Serve as a key contact to diocesan fiscal staff.

Requirements

At least five years of relevant experience and an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or finance are required.

Qualifications

Advanced (graduate level) education in accounting and knowledge of QuickBooks are highly desirable.
