About the role

This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation matters with a national and international client base. We are seeking candidates with a solid background and prior experience in complex commercial litigation such as consumer class actions, antitrust litigation, merger and acquisition litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance disputes, franchise litigation, contractor classification disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation matters with a national and international client base.
  • Work on complex commercial litigation cases, including consumer class actions, antitrust litigation, merger and acquisition litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance disputes, franchise litigation, contractor classification disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.
  • Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice with particular emphasis on litigation procedure, including the discovery process and e-discovery.
  • Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization skills, attention to detail, writing and analytical skills.
  • Active bar membership.

Pay

The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $210,000 – $265,000. Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law.

Schedule

Our in-office work policy asks all attorneys, consulting professionals and paraprofessionals to work from a Faegre Drinker office three days per week, striking a balance between in-person collaboration, relationship-building, and exceptional client service, while also supporting individual flexibility and work-life balance.
