Business Litigation Associate - AmLaw200

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts through all phases
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend fact and expert depositions
• Lead discovery strategy, including document production and e-discovery coordination
• Support trial preparation and trial, including witness and exhibit strategy
• Advise clients on litigation risk and business impact
• Work directly with in-house counsel and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility for prompt admission
• 3–9+ years of complex commercial litigation experience at a law firm of comparable caliber
• Counsel-level candidates may be considered
• Prior DOJ experience is a plus
• Experience with contract disputes, business torts, and fiduciary matters

Compensation

• Base salary range: $200,000 – $300,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Eligible for discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package
