We’re looking for someone who can use data to craft strategy and solutions to join our team. You’ll analyze internal and external data to help identify and quantify the potential of new products, forecast sales, and provide decision support through the life of the product. You will be working with multiple partners and balancing their needs to craft the direction of our new offerings and enable the product team to bring the best new products to market. Driving new product development and launches with data-driven insights.Evaluating and testing various alternative approaches and recommending the path forward.Performing advanced analytics, modeling and data mining to develop insights on our business.Supporting the product team with decisions related to new concepts based on data analytics.Monitoring performance and reporting ongoing and ad hoc metrics in reports, presentations, and dashboards targeted to the situation and audience. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand. People trust you based upon your thoughtful and detailed analyses. You’ll Need To Have Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in SQL and data visualization tools including Tableau, Looker, and Qlik.Data Warehousing: Professional experience working within Teradata and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.Business & Data Analysis: Proven ability to perform deep-dive data investigations and translate findings into business acumen.Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing technical projects from inception through delivery.Requirements Analysis: Strong skill set in gathering and documenting technical specifications for data processing.Agile Methodology: Experience working within Agile frameworks to deliver iterative reporting solutions.ETL Expertise: Technical knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load processes using Informatica or KNIME.Operational Agility: Proven ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and maintain a sense of urgency when troubleshooting obstacles. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative fieldAdvanced Data Storytelling: Experience distilling big data into insights and presenting complex ideas to diverse audiences.Large-Scale Transformations: Ability to perform complex transformations on massive data sets across multiple platforms to drive business answers.Autonomous Problem Solving: Capability to work independently with minimal guidance to meet urgent business needs through data analysis.RDBMS Versatility: Familiarity with various relational database management systems such as Oracle, Informix, Postgres, or SQLServer.Telecommunications Expertise: At least 5+ years of experience in the telecom industry with a focus on B2B or enterprise customer management.Internal Systems Knowledge: Prior experience with Verizon Data Warehouse and proprietary sales or revenue reporting systems. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $98,500.00 - $188,000.00.
