This role requires strong SQL skills, hands-on SSRS and Power BI experience, and proven web development capability. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between reporting and application development work, communicates well with business stakeholders, and thrives in a regulated financial systems environment.
Responsibilities

- Manage SSRS subscriptions, permissions, and scheduled report delivery
- Ensure report accuracy and consistency with source data and business rules
- Design and develop web applications and internal tools in support of the Unique Assets platform
- Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (VueJS, React or Angular preferred)
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar platforms) to accelerate web development, improve code quality, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance productivity while adhering to established coding standards and security best practices
- Collaborate with the broader development team on architecture, code reviews, and best practices
- Apply version control (Git) and participate in SDLC processes including code review and QA
- Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support reporting and application data needs
- Optimize query performance for large financial and trust accounting datasets
- Work with data warehouses, OLTP databases, and staging environments to source and shape data
- Collaborate with DBAs to ensure data quality, integrity, and access patterns are maintained
- Partner with business analysts, QA, and operations staff through requirements gathering, UAT, and post-deployment validation
- Engage stakeholders on adjacent legacy systems (e.g. Rocket Universe) to understand source data structure and lineage ahead of SQL replication
- Document report logic, data sources, API contracts, and field definitions for maintainability
- Support end-users with report and application questions, training, and ad hoc analysis
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on SSRS report development in a production environment
- 2+ years of Power BI development
- 3+ years of SQL Server development with strong T-SQL proficiency
