Description
Strategic Sourcing team in Supply Chain Optimization and Technology organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer. The team owns systems designed to reduce end-to-end costs from inbound supply chain and improve vendor performance. Key decisions made by these systems include timing and sourcing of products, vendor selection, supply chain setup, inventory management, and chargeback strategies.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of business intelligence products, tools, and services.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Create comprehensive reports to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to projects spanning Retail and Operations departments, aligning work with S-Team and OLT goals for company-wide success.
- Dive into data to analyze root causes and implement simple, long-term solutions.
- Collaborate in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment focused on building the world’s most flexible and effective supply chain.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Mentor team members and share knowledge to foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
- Experience with statistical analysis, correlation analysis.
