About the role

The Business Intelligence Engineer designs and develops data modeling for the data warehouse; monitors the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes; and provides technical support for the systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops data modeling for the data warehouse
  • Maintains and monitors Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
  • Provides technical support for the systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools

Requirements

  • Knowledge of database programming languages, including SQL and non-relational database SQL
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI), data lake, and data warehousing concepts and tools
  • Experience with databases, data queries, data mining, data acquisition, and ETL strategies and tools
  • Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis
  • Experience with software engineering principles and skills working on Unix/Linux/Windows Operating systems, Version Control, and Office software
  • Experience with data platform support in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Experience with Reporting analytics and data visualization tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in computer science, data science, management information system, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

  • $121,812 - $150,912 Annually
