Responsibilities

  • Transform institutional data into actionable insights that drive strategic planning, operational efficiency, and student success.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations (currently using Tableau).
  • Automate reporting processes and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs, create user-friendly reporting solutions, and promote a culture of data-informed decision-making.
  • Build data pipelines, streamline reporting workflows, and provide training and support to enhance data literacy across the college.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, statistics, business analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Minimum four years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or dashboard/report development.
  • Two or more years of experience with data warehouses or data management systems and common query/reporting tools (e.g., SSMS, SQL, TOAD, Cognos, SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Strong understanding of relational database design, data warehousing, and ERP systems (e.g., Ellucian Colleague).
  • Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., SPSS preferred, SAS, or R) and programming/syntax experience.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with senior leadership, IT, and academic/administrative teams.
  • Experience presenting statistical analysis and research findings to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical users.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including training and presentation experience.

Pay

This is a Full-Time Support Staff position at grade 215, with an annual salary range of $73,983 to $98,644. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Schedule

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
