Responsibilities
- Partner with internal IT staff to maintain reliable network, server, and end-user technology across the organization.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot core infrastructure components, including switches, gateways, firewalls, wireless connectivity, VLANs, and IP-based services.
- Support identity and access administration by managing user accounts, permissions, policy settings, and related directory services.
- Help administer Microsoft 365, Exchange environments, virtualization platforms, and backup systems to promote stability and recoverability.
- Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues involving desktops, thin clients, mobile devices, and essential business applications.
- Prepare, deploy, refresh, and document workstations and other devices throughout the hardware lifecycle.
- Provide functional support for specialized platforms such as AutoCAD, Trimble solutions, BIM360, CAMduct, and cloud-based operational systems.
- Maintain asset records, warranty details, equipment assignments, and organized inventory storage for IT hardware.
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization projects, including server room organization, cable management, equipment retirement, and secure disposal of legacy technology.
Requirements
- Experience in business analysis and technology support within a detail-oriented environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based business systems.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts such as switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networking.
- Understanding of user account administration, access controls, and directory services in a Windows-based environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and device issues across a range of end-user technologies.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining documentation, inventory records, and asset tracking.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with technical teams and business users.
Qualifications
