Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist with Security Clearance

Position Overview

Strategos Consulting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides consulting, services, training, and engineering solutions to the US Government and its partners. The Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist position is part of a government contract at Stennis Space Center, MS.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics strategies across the organization.
• Aid in generating reports for internal and external distribution.
• Support the design and development of Business Intelligence Platform and Data Conversion products.
• Use analytical skills to monitor and plan key performance indicators and provide actionable data for business strategies.
• Support the implementation of business solutions, leveraging technology and decision-making processes to support business transformations and achieve NAVSCIATTS long-term strategy goals.
• Assist the N5/Strategic Planning Department in managing projects using established Project Management methodologies.
• Support NAVSCIATTS Business Intelligence and Analytics program for senior leadership in the decision-making process.
• Support Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives to integrate planning, development, and implementation of knowledge across the command.
• Work with department heads to define KM requirements, manage KM projects to completion, and implement solutions to meet those requirements.
• Promote knowledge sharing through operational business processes and tools to enhance command performance.
• Assist and provide technical expertise in organizational studies and evaluations, system design, work simplification studies, and operations and procedures preparation to support senior leadership in improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support all business functions to empower them with data and solutions for impactful decision-making.
• Aid in defining, developing, and implementing departmental strategies around Business Intelligence, contributing to NAVSCIATTS strategic direction.
• Provide insight into setting Metrics and Key Production Indicators (KPIs) reporting direction.
• Assist with Business Intelligence projects: development, reporting, and integration.
• Provide Business Intelligence insight and team leadership supporting NAVSCIATTS’ strategies and analysis.
• Assist with Business Intelligence and analytics, and data integration initiatives.
• Support Command’s critical strategies and business processes by assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of multiple business applications systems and reports.
• Assist with the design and implementation of Web applications, InfoPath Forms, SharePoint, ETL, Relational Databases, and Tableau Dashboards.
• Coordinate multiple Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Set plans, deadlines, responsibilities, and progress for multiple projects.
• Create reports and dashboards for upper management regarding project statuses.
• Manage SOCOM/NAVSCIATTS' social media APAN (All Partners Access Network) infrastructure projects.
• Search for and provide recommendations on technology innovation opportunities for project delivery plans.
• Provide key technical expertise in internal dashboards and Business Intelligence initiatives, effectively collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver impactful analytics.
• Aid in forecasting student throughput and conducting forecasting analyses.
• Prepare and present command briefings, reports, and recommendations to various levels of the Chain of Command.

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar field. Experience with Tableau, SQL, and ETL tools is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
