This role combines hands-on report and dashboard development with proactive business partnership—owning both the technical execution and the business context behind analytics work. Success in this role is defined not only by high-quality reports and dashboards, but by the ability to understand business objectives, anticipate needs, and deliver insights that inform decisions and drive measurable outcomes at scale.

Business Partnership & Insight Partner

  • Closely with business leaders to understand goals, performance drivers, and decision needs.
  • Clarify, refine, and elevate analytical requests to ensure focus on business value and impact.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities using data—beyond explicitly requested work.
  • Communicate insights clearly, emphasizing implications, trade-offs, and recommended actions.

Reporting, Dashboards & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical assets to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop automated reporting and scalable self-service analytics where appropriate.
  • Ensure analytical solutions are accurate, intuitive, and aligned to enterprise definitions and standards.
  • Balance analytical rigor with speed based on business context and urgency.

Analytics Ownership & Collaboration

  • Own analytics work end-to-end—from problem definition through delivery and adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering, platform, and governance teams to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Participate in planning and prioritization discussions to align analytics work with enterprise priorities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics tools, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, strategy, FP&A, consulting, or related roles.
  • Prior experience operating in a data-rich, well-scaled organization (e.g., multi-location, high-transaction volume, or complex operating environment).
  • Demonstrated history of partnering directly with business leaders and influencing decisions through analytics.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and imperfect data is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to connect data and analytics to business strategy, financial outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and automated analytics using modern BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements.
  • Excellent analytical judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and raise the level of thinking.

Education

  • Rigorous, analytics-focused academic background and demonstrated technical depth will be prioritized.
