Responsibilities

  • Provides operational and analytical support for perioperative services through reporting, data analysis, and workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Supports OR charge review and auditing processes.
  • Affords assistance with reporting needs for surgical leadership and other departments.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow accuracy, and revenue capture.
  • Builds and analyzes reports for perioperative services and GI procedural areas.
  • Presents findings to committees as needed.
  • Conducts surgical and procedural case reviews and audits of data related to charges, supplies, and utilization.
  • Prepares surgical and procedural reimbursement reports.
  • Prepares and updates pro forma documents for equipment, supplies, and new technology initiatives.
  • Performs surgical charge posting and auditing.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in business operations.
  • Certifications, Licenses, Or Registration Required: None.

Skills & Abilities

  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and related software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office products and database software.
  • Analytical skills and organizational skills.
  • Financial analysis, database knowledge and analysis required.
  • Business acumen, expert knowledge of Excel and reporting.
  • Accounting knowledge is beneficial.
