Business Intelligence Analyst II (Remote)
About the role
Vitu is transforming the way vehicles, businesses, government, and drivers interact with one another through innovative Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) technology. As a Business Intelligence Analyst II, you will collaborate with various business groups to communicate requirements and deliver value-added solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will serve as an organizer, facilitator, analyst, and problem solver to drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business owners, teams, and colleagues to identify, document, and address project requirements, issues, and risks, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables, system enhancements, and resolution for customer requests.
- Conduct analysis to identify current business processes, system inadequacies, departmental or user issues, business performance measures, revenue and marketplace analytics, or competitor analysis.
- Present ideas for process and systems improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences.
- Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of CMS applications, customer needs, and various business units within Vitu.
- Communicate with leadership on impacts to changes in project scope and relay those impacts to management and the team.
- Ensure appropriate project or user documentation is produced and utilized.
- Manage individual workload and assist with defining and prioritizing tasks.
- Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects.
- Ensure all analytical processes adhere to established business and department standards and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination such as 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to actively resolve problems.
- Experience in delivering and designing presentations and training for individuals and larger audiences.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Smartsheet.
- Demonstrated experience in problem resolution, system analysis, and business literacy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Assertive, confident, and able to work both independently and as part of a team while striving to exceed customer expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in relevant functional areas strongly preferred.
- Exposure to multiple database technologies and reporting tools.
- Experience with Smartsheet work management software.
- Experience with Workforce Management or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in Excel.
- High proficiency at the conceptual and working level of automotive products and services.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $26.50 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the applicant’s relevant experience, skillset, education, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
