Business Intelligence Analyst
About the role
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This role will primarily focus on Power BI development, including dashboard creation, reporting, data modeling, and data visualization. The analyst will partner with multiple business units and leadership teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into effective BI solutions, and drive process improvements using Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI-enabled tools.
This role is ideal for a Power BI-focused analyst who can partner with business leaders, translate requirements into meaningful reporting solutions, and help expand the organization’s use of automation and AI-enabled tools. This role will report to the Business Intelligence Manager and be based out of our Irvine, California office.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline workflows, improve business processes, and reduce manual work.
- Work closely with leadership teams to convert ideas and business requirements into meaningful dashboard designs and data requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BI reporting and analysis documentation.
- Create and manage Microsoft Power Platform assets including PowerBI Reports, Data Sets (Semantic model), Data Flows, Power Automate, Workspaces, Apps, and Row Level Security.
- Identify opportunities to use technology solutions to improve processes, strengthen business strategies, and streamline reporting through automation.
- Develop and implement BI solutions that support the monitoring of data quality and integrity.
- Apply predictive analytics to provide customer-level reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Finance, Economics, Statistical Analysis)
- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data modeling & reporting using BI software
- Advanced skills in PowerBI, Power Query, and DAX
- Familiarity with AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Experience supporting analytics needs for Operations, Marketing and Sales teams.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices to effectively display quantitative and qualitative data
- Ability to understand and create SQL queries for data manipulation, data extraction, analysis
- Experience designing and developing dashboards and reporting metrics using PowerBI
- Experience with Power Apps, including the ability to support or enhance existing canvas and model-driven apps
- Understanding of Data Modeling to support analytic needs
- Ability to understand business questions and translate those business questions into analytics
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Manage competing deadlines as well as variances in schedules and resources
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies; Scrum, Agile, Kanban
- Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, look-ups, advanced formulas, etc.)

Benefits
The anticipated salary range for candidates is $90,000-$110,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
