Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted Looker dashboards and explores used by leaders of teams across the organization
  • Translate business questions into clear, durable reporting solutions with well-defined metrics and documentation
  • Support cross-functional initiatives where analytics needs are defined and time-sensitive
  • Own recurring reporting deliverables (reports, operational dashboards, repeatable analyses)
  • Maintain, improve, and de-bug existing dashboards for performance, usability, and metric consistency
  • Collaborate with data stakeholders to clearly define, measure, and track key metrics for success
  • Contribute to data literacy and self-service enablement (clear definitions, documentation, stakeholder education)
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and templatize common reporting patterns to reduce ad hoc work over time

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Looker experience (1-3 years): Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards and explores in Looker, including comfort in working with LookML
  • SQL proficiency (1-3+ years): Strong comfort writing SQL for analysis and validation (experience with Amazon Redshift or similar preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering
  • Clear communication: Ability to explain analysis, tradeoffs, and metric definitions to technical and non-technical stakeholders; comfort with talking to stakeholders to turn ambiguous needs into clear technical solutions
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally to gather requirements, align on definitions, and deliver usable reporting
  • Project management skills: Ability to scope work, manage timelines, communicate updates, and reliably deliver across multiple priorities
  • Curiosity: A desire to continuously learn and grow your skillset

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • R or Python: Experience using R or Python for deep analysis, statistical work, or automation
  • Training/Coaching/Presenting: Experience enabling others through training, documentation, office hours, or presenting analytics to large groups
  • Healthcare experience: Familiarity with the healthcare industry or work with clinical, operations, revenue cycle, or regulated environments
  • Startup experience: Experience working in a high-paced, high-growth company where team members act with urgency and prioritize high-leverage activity
  • Data governance: Experience with metric governance and definition management (source-of-truth alignment, KPI standardization, data dictionaries, documentation, change management, etc.)

Pay

We offer compensation that is market-aligned, performance-driven, and designed to maintain internal equity. Pay is reviewed regularly, and growth is supported based on demonstrated impact and increased scope of responsibility, not tenure alone. Final offers are tailored to each candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and location within the applicable regional pay band. Regional Pay Bands
Montreal, Quebec: CAD $85,230 - $104,170
U.S. salary range (varies by location): $95,670 – $137,940 base salary depending on market (higher ranges for high-cost areas like San Francisco, mid-range for markets like Chicago, and lower range for other U.S. locations).
