Responsibilities

  • Support procurement and supplier management functions within critical operational environments by delivering key data insights.
  • Lead efforts to establish and enhance metrics reporting capabilities, extracting data from various tools and systems.
  • Design, develop, and implement compelling dashboards and reporting tools to visualize complex data.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across diverse business functions to align data solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Gather and translate intricate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions and reporting.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to inform decisions on data solution implementations.
  • Apply deep business knowledge to proactively identify and resolve problems, capitalizing on opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide data-driven support for highly complex business processes.
  • Act as a crucial liaison between the business community and technical teams, ensuring data solutions meet user needs.
  • Contribute as a key member on multiple projects, often managing diverse initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools, data modeling, data engineering, and comprehensive analytics/reporting.
  • Proven ability to build sophisticated dashboards using various business intelligence platforms.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages to comprehend and interpret code and its functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative business solutions that enhance competitive advantage.
  • Exceptional judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for achieving optimal solutions.
  • Able to coordinate and manage projects within a data analytics context, consistently meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Adept at solving complex technical problems and understanding intricate details of data systems.
  • Prominent track record of increasing operational efficiency through the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
  • Superior interpersonal and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders at varying technical levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect complex situations, conduct thorough research using multiple information sources, and formulate innovative solutions.
