Business Integration Communications Manager

About the Role
RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Business Integration Communications Manager to drive integrated communications across the Raytheon business. This role focuses on internal and external content development, weekly reporting, campaign support, and enterprise-wide coordination. The position partners closely with Raytheon Communications leadership, priority owners, and business stakeholders to deliver clear, consistent, and timely communications aligned with Raytheon’s strategic priorities.
The role provides dedicated support to Raytheon's Capacity Growth Office (CGO), helping articulate goals, progress, and alignment across functions as the business accelerates production capacity. It also serves as a connective integrator across the Raytheon Communications organization to ensure message consistency and coordinated execution across internal and external channels.
Responsibilities
- Provide communications support to the Capacity Growth Office, including synthesizing cross-functional updates, developing messaging and materials, supporting RLPM- and CORE-aligned workstreams, and communicating progress on enterprise capacity acceleration initiatives internally and externally.
- Provide executive communications support to Raytheon’s president of Capacity Growth, including internal events, leader messages, and thought leadership content that amplifies RTX and Raytheon strategic priorities for a global audience.
- Provide communications support to the Raytheon Space and other ASDS teams, including story research, competitive and media assessments, content development for web and digital, and support for major industry events.
- Develop social media content for Raytheon leaders and products to elevate executive visibility and align with business objectives.
- Produce the monthly ASDS “In the News” summary and support drafting of internal communications highlighting business achievements and milestones.
- Contribute to external website content updates and assist with maintaining communications metrics, reporting tools, and content trackers.
- Participate in the AI Communications Center of Excellence as the Raytheon representative, sharing use cases, identifying opportunities for scaled adoption, and raising risks or needs.
- Lead the development, consolidation, editing, and distribution of the Weekly Raytheon Communications Report, including managing contributor engagement, templates, reminders, and the Highlights & Insights summary for Communications leadership.
- Serve as the central point of contact for communications reporting processes and operational workflows that support leadership visibility and organizational alignment.
- Support priority campaigns and communications initiatives by contributing to message development, content creation, and coordination across internal, external, and social channels.
- Work closely with communications leads across functions to ensure message consistency, operational alignment, and high-quality execution.
- Provide occasional support for site-based activities and cross-business communications needs as assigned.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- Proven writing, editing, and message development skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with communications tools, digital content, and reporting best practices.
- Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and integrate information from multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex technical industries preferred.
- Experience with program management tools and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
