Business Immigration Analyst
About the role
Seyfarth’s national Global Immigration and Mobility team has multiple opportunities for Business Immigration Analysts (Paralegals) to support client accounts by preparing and filing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, including but not limited to H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, PERMs, I-140 Preference Petitions, and Adjustment of Status Applications. While this position is a hybrid opportunity, remote work arrangements may be considered for experienced candidates.
Responsibilities
- Multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Navigate complex technology platforms efficiently including updating the platform to appropriately reflect case development and leveraging on-screen reports to manage individual case load.
- Review custom reports of moderate complexity, initiate and assign cases.
- Identify case issues of average complexity and propose effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively and timely in writing and verbally, as appropriate for the needs of the audience (clients, governmental agencies, internal and external resources) including effectively managing Outlook email inbox.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of Business Immigration related experience or demonstrated interest in Business Immigration.
- Experience preparing H-1B, L-1, and PERM applications, preferably in a large law firm environment.
- A strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment to meet client objectives related to their foreign national employees.
- Strong writing skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in client communication, teamwork, and case management platforms.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $60,000 annually, based on a 40-hour work week. This range is applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs.
