We’re seeking a Business Excellence Manager to own the site’s operational excellence roadmap and embed a culture of continuous improvement, digital maturity, and Lean leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for translating strategy into execution and driving measurable improvements in cost, quality, throughput, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Site Director to execute strategic priorities and operational improvement initiatives
- Lead and deliver end-to-end transformation projects with measurable impact on cost, quality, delivery, and throughput
- Deploy Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis) across production and support functions
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in variable, non-standard production workflows
- Establish, track, and improve KPIs and performance management systems that drive accountability at all levels
- Drive adoption of digital tools, automation, and data analysis and visibility to support smarter decision-making
- Facilitate Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions
- Coach leaders and frontline teams to embed a sustainable culture of continuous improvement
- Standardize key processes while maintaining flexibility for customer-specific production requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or operational excellence leadership
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (Black Belt preferred)
- Expertise in process optimization, KPI design, and digital tools
- Demonstrated success delivering tangible operational improvements (e.g., throughput, yield, cost reduction)
- Direct experience leading shop-floor execution
- Experience standardizing processes in variable production environments
