Business Education/STEM Connections Teacher for grades 4-8

About the role

RMSST 4-8 is a new non-traditional Magnet school opening in August 2026 for students in 4th-8th grades. It focuses on STEM, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and the Design Thinking process.

Responsibilities

• Teach business education principles to students in grades 4-8
• Integrate various STEM subjects such as coding, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship into the curriculum
• Collaborate positively and effectively with other teachers and staff
• Show flexibility and possess a growth mindset
• Take initiative in planning and implementing lessons

Requirements

• Hold a teaching certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission
• Have already passed the GACE in science, math, and/or business education for grades 4-8

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of business education principles
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Flexibility and a growth mindset
• Initiative in lesson planning and implementation
