About the role
The successful candidate will teach a range of economics courses, possibly including: Principles of Finance, Investments, Advanced Corporate Finance, Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and Econometrics. There may be opportunities to teach other courses in the candidate’s areas of specialization.
Responsibilities
- Teach 24 credit hours per academic year, normally 3-3
- Advise and recruit business-economics students
- Contribute to scholarship and service
Requirements
- Ph.D. in economics or a closely related field (ABD will also be considered)
- Commitment to teaching, scholarly activity, and the mission of excellence in the liberal arts
Qualifications
- Experience in higher education
- Research interests conducive to student involvement
- A commitment to collegiality, relationship-rich education, and mentoring

- Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education
