Business Development Specialist I - Boise, ID
Description Summary/Objective
The Business Development Specialist I will prospect, develop, and maintain profitable, quality lending relationships with dealer partners by phone and regular in person visits. This position will grow the business by demonstrating value to all Dealer Management, which requires thorough knowledge of program capabilities and ability to learn industry specifics quickly.
Essential Functions
- Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and possess strong customer interaction skills
- Solve problems, digest and apply information, learn new skills, and think critically
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft applications & preferably in Dynamics CRM
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as presentation skills
- Work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Have excellent time management skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated
Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and possess strong customer interaction skills

- Highly proficient computer skills; specifically, in Microsoft applications & preferably in Dynamics CRM
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as presentation skills

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- In most cases an in-home office must be maintained
- Routine use of appropriate and required office and personal communications technology, which will be provided
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some weekend work required.
Travel
This position will require regular travel nationwide. Also, must be able to make travel arrangements, be comfortable with air travel, be able to drive, and walk around the dealership if needed.
Pay Range
The full-time salary range for this position is anticipated to be $50,000.00 - $52,500.00.
Incentive Compensation
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic performance incentive plan. Employees are eligible for pay incentives as detailed by the specific line of business incentive plan provisions. Formulaic plans may be comprised of monthly, quarterly and/or annual incentive opportunities. Incentives are earned based on the employee’s performance against defined metrics.
