Latham & Watkins is a global law firm focusing on businesses and institutions that drive the global economy. The Business Development Senior Specialist – Tech Industry plays a crucial role in supporting the Tech industry groups to achieve their strategic marketing and business development goals.

Responsibilities

• Employing knowledge to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans
• Acting as a “dot connector” internally
• Staying abreast of developments and trends in the areas of Technology and Artificial Intelligence
• Serving as a liaison between AI Practice stakeholders and strategic projects
• Building and driving the marketing strategy for the Tech industry groups with a focus on measurable impact
• Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies, including collaborating with relevant BD teams and key partner stakeholders
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Qualifications

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the tech & AI landscape, including various players within the industry, trends, etc.
• Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels
• Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer-service focus
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant business development experience in a law firm or legal environment, preferably a minimum of five (5) years of cumulative relevant experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
