General Purpose: The Business Development Representative is responsible for calling on a pipeline of customer prospects for TPx's cloud-based products and services. This position works closely with Marketing and other sales/business development groups to achieve success metrics, drive revenue gains, and execute outreach strategies. This role supplements email/messaging business development via calling campaigns. Direct Reports: No Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manages campaigns and cadences to identify Sales Qualified LeadsInitiates contact with potential customers through cold-calling prospects who have been contacted via other business development methods, or responding to inquiries generated from advertisementsDevelops sales strategies to draw in potential customers or to solicit new potential customersIdentifies pain points, priorities, and business compatibilityConveys how products and solutions can help achieve business communication goalsConverts prospects to sales-qualified leads or opportunities for the sales team by scheduling discovery meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives or senior sales representativesFosters relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interestMeets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual appointment-setting goals Other Responsibilities: Collaborates with the Marketing team to write, test, and optimize call scripts and sequential follow-up communicationsTracks and reports marketing qualification within SalesforceHelps maintain and enrich the Salesforce databasePerforms other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years' experience in salesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong time management skills: ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong analytical, creative, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of online communications tools and applications Other Qualifications: Experience in the technology/communications industry preferredKnowledge of current demand generation tactics, marketing automation, and digital marketing tools, content syndication, webinars, paid social, affiliate marketing, and pay-per-lead programs preferredExcellent project management skills preferred TPx is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
