About the role

At Netsmart, we're passionate about using technology to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. Through innovation and collaboration, we help caregivers and providers deliver better outcomes and improve the lives of the individuals and communities they serve.

Our Futures Program is a 10‑week summer internship designed for students who want to gain real‑world experience while making a meaningful impact. Participants work on hands‑on projects, build connections with leaders and associates across Netsmart, and take part in professional development, networking, and social events. As a Future, you'll gain valuable skills, explore healthcare technology, and experience a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and purpose — all while contributing to work that truly matters. If you aren't local to the Kansas City Metro, we will have housing options available (certain criteria must be met to qualify).
