About the Role

Team Mobile is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to expand our presence in East Tennessee healthcare markets by developing and strengthening relationships with hospitals, behavioral health facilities, treatment centers, and other referral partners. This role focuses on increasing awareness of behavioral health transportation services, generating new referral opportunities, and identifying opportunities for market growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new referral relationships throughout the assigned East Tennessee territory.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing healthcare and behavioral health partners.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face visits to hospitals, emergency departments, behavioral health facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and other referral sources.
  • Introduce and promote our behavioral health ambulance and transportation capabilities.
  • Develop relationships with hospital leadership, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, behavioral health professionals, and other decision-makers.
  • Identify facilities and organizations that could benefit from our services and pursue new business development opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at Tennessee healthcare conferences, networking events, community events, and professional meetings.
  • Monitor market activity, competitors, referral trends, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Track marketing visits, leads, referrals, follow-up activities, and results.
  • Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, and Leadership to ensure referral partners receive responsive and professional service.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Healthcare marketing, business development, community outreach, EMS/ambulance, behavioral health, or healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships and generate new business is preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the Tennessee healthcare or behavioral health community are highly desirable.

Schedule

Full-time; some evening and weekend flexibility required for healthcare conferences, networking events, and meetings with referral partners.
