About the Role

We are looking for our first Business Development Representative, B2B, to help scale our highest-value accounts. B2B sells the Pod in bulk to professional sports organizations, medical institutions, executives, and other premium buyers where sleep, recovery, and performance matter. You will own the top of the funnel: finding accounts, mapping decision makers, running outbound, and booking qualified meetings. The Inside Sales and B2B Lead will close the deal. Post-sale, you will help own the account experience, including installs, client communication, troubleshooting, and long-term relationship management. This is not a traditional BDR role where you only book meetings and move on. You will build relationships across pro sports, medicine, executives, founders, and high-performance communities. As you prove yourself, you will take on more of the sales conversation, including closing the deals you source.

Responsibilities

  • Build the funnel. Run outbound across LinkedIn, email, phone, referrals, and events to start conversations with high-value B2B accounts
  • Map the strategy. Identify which teams, institutions, executives, contacts, and events are worth pursuing
  • Book qualified meetings. Source accounts, create thoughtful outreach, and bring qualified opportunities to the Inside Sales and B2B Lead.
  • Support the sales process. Research accounts, prepare context, track next steps, and help move deals forward
  • Post-sale support. Coordinate installs, manage client communication, handle troubleshooting, and support long-term relationship management
  • Be the expert. Master Eight Sleep's product, sleep science, and B2B use cases so you can translate features into outcomes that matter to premium buyers
  • Iterate fast. Help build the B2B playbook by testing messaging, segments, outreach, and account workflows

Requirements

  • 2 to 5+ years of B2B, business development, outbound sales, partnerships, or account management experience.
  • A proven outbound track record building pipeline from scratch through LinkedIn, email, phone, events, or referrals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the judgment to engage premium buyers across sports, medicine, executives, and performance.
  • Operational discipline. You can manage details, follow through, and keep many moving pieces organized without needing to be chased.
  • Comfort owning post-sale work, including logistics, installs, troubleshooting, and client management.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable in a zero-to-one environment where speed, judgment, and execution matter.
  • Willingness to travel for installs and events, including evenings, weekends, and sports playoff windows when demand spikes.

Qualifications

  • Bonus if you have worked with professional sports teams, medical organizations, executives, hospitality, wellness, or premium consumer products.

Benefits

  • Full access to health, vision, and dental insurance for you and your dependents
  • Supplemental life insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Commuter benefits to ease your daily commute
  • Paid parental leave
  • Your own Pod
  • Equity participation with periodic refreshments based on performance
  • List of benefits may vary depending on your location
