About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, is the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, offering comprehensive sales, parts, and service solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Product Support Sales Representatives in selling parts and service solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with the PSSRs and Service Teams
  • Based out of a new state-of-the-art facility, focusing on Brunswick and Kingsland areas
  • Provide coverage while maintaining a retail presence at assigned stores
  • Sell BCP/CCE attachments to new accounts
  • Create quality leads through various methods including cold calling, social selling, email, and networking
  • Generate new business opportunities and build a pipeline of accounts
  • Shadow necessary departments and call unassigned accounts
  • Visit customers in the field for demonstrations, walk-arounds, and prospecting
  • Document coverage activities within the CRM
  • Participate in team selling for selling situations
  • Prepare quotes as required
  • Understand competitive products to effectively sell against features
  • Sell the value of products and services
  • Complete foundational training packet

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in required safety program and work safely
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature, and initiative
  • Enjoy talking to people, developing relationships with customers, and working in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred
  • Leadership, Vision, Competitiveness, and Sense of Urgency
  • Strong accountability and initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Presentation Skills, Organization Skills, and Advanced Problem Solving Capabilities
  • Strong Teamwork Skills
  • PC proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of Inside Sales experience preferred
