Job Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Visual Edge IT, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth strategy—identifying, qualifying, and creating new business opportunities that fuel our success. You’ll use modern sales tools and data-driven outreach strategies to uncover potential clients and connect them to technology solutions that make a difference.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Identify and nurture strategic relationships with prospective clients and partners.
- Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads through proactive outreach, research, and targeted campaigns.
- Execute high-volume outbound calls and emails to engage potential customers and schedule sales meetings.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and align VEIT solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to execute integrated lead-generation campaigns.
- Manage all lead activity within the CRM, ensuring data integrity and visibility across the sales organization.
- Work closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and ensure smooth transitions.
- Continuously improve outreach messaging, cadence, and conversion strategies using performance data.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively position VEIT solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales opportunity targets.
Required Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred).
- Proven ability to generate leads and build relationships through professional outreach.
- Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6sense, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, consultative approach.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, coachable, and motivated by both personal and team success.
- A passion for technology and a genuine curiosity to understand how it can solve real business challenges.
