Business Development Representative
Brief Description
Responsible for generating business opportunities within defined market segments which consists of manufacturing facilities, educational institutions and other organizations and agencies related to manufacturing training. It is the responsibility of this position to maximize Tooling U-SME long-term overall sales goals.
Major Functions
- Possess a deep understanding of sales and marketing concepts and how to effectively apply them.
- Think strategically to identify, generate, nurture and qualify leads to turn them into sales-ready opportunities.
- Be motivated by cold calling, asking probing questions and gathering information.
- Aptitude for overcoming objections and effectively communicating value propositions to key decision makers and influencers.
- Strong acumen for setting meetings for sales teams in a variety of territories.
- Develop ways to improve the organization and internal processes.
- Deliver SF.com reports for both management and the sales team on a consistent basis.
- Ensure data within SF.com is up-to-date for marketing and sales purposes.
- Meet milestone deadlines directed by management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- Skills and experience: Strong understanding of sales and marketing concepts, ability to think strategically, motivation by cold calling, aptitude for overcoming objections, strong acumen for setting meetings, and developing ways to improve the organization and internal processes.

Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Primary office location: Cleveland, OH. Regular, in-person attendance required. Some travel required.

Salary Range
$61,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
