About The Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is the engine of the enterprise sales pipeline, responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying high-potential B2B technology accounts. Operating in a high-velocity, metrics-driven environment, this role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing, turning cold outreach and inbound interest into qualified pipeline. This position requires a technical aptitude to understand complex software solutions and the business acumen to communicate their value to decision-makers. BDRs collaborate daily with Account Executives and marketing teams to execute strategic, multi-channel outbound campaigns targeting enterprise IT, security, and operations buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to schedule qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
  • Qualify marketing-generated leads (MQLs) quickly and efficiently, mapping prospect pain points to technical solution offerings.
  • Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders, corporate structures, and existing technology stacks using tools like ZoomInfo and BuiltWith.
  • Maintain immaculate data hygiene in Salesforce, logging all activities, prospect notes, and account intelligence in real time.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to continuously test and refine outreach templates, scripts, and multi-touch sequencing within Outreach.io.
  • Achieve and exceed daily activity metrics (60+ touchpoints) and monthly quota targets for qualified meetings booked (SAs).

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, professional sales, or high-volume outreach environment.
  • Track record of resilience, coachability, and a competitive drive to exceed quantitative performance metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts in simple, value-driven terms.
  • High level of organization and time management, with the ability to manage a pipeline of hundreds of active prospects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, or previous experience in tech/SaaS sales.
