Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development/ marketing plans that focus on retaining existing referrals, developing new referral sources, increasing consumer awareness, and promoting corporate identity in order to increase census.
- Evaluate and analyze effectiveness of the plan and make adjustments and changes where appropriate
- Maintain professional working relationships with staff, including being able to work remotely with team members
- Prepare presentations to effectively represent services offered
- Coincords and conducts tours for key referral sources
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing relationships with current and prospective referral sources to market Phoenix House services
- Work closely with the admissions department to insure timely response and cross communication of referral activity
Qualifications
- Two years direct experience in healthcare marketing preferred
- Must possess a state driver’s license with no restrictions and meets all requirements of facility vehicle policy
- Must be able to work with male/female, adult (18-over) and adolescent substance abuse/dually diagnosed/opiate dependent population
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with appropriate documentation skills to complete reports, utilize data and communicate ideas constructively
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks of varying difficulty and complexity so that deadlines are met and schedules are maintained
- Self-disciplined with an ability to work independently and under pressure
- Utilize strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication
- Exercise discretion in handling details of confidential nature
- Must be self-motivated, set own schedule and perform duties of job with minimal supervision
- Previous healthcare marketing experience with a track record of growth is required
- Ability to establish, maintain and develop business relationships with customers and potential customers in an assigned territory
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Physical/Emotional Demands
- Work is sedentary and/or ambulant
- Occasional physical exertion (lifting 30 or more pounds, walking, standing, etc.) through course of job requirement
- Must be able to see, sit, stand, bend and reach
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English language
- Must be able to make independent decisions when needed
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with the medical, nursing, clinical and other staff
- May be exposed to varying and unpredictable situations (i.e., patient behavior)
Work Environment
- Materials, equipment and supplies necessary to perform assigned tasks are provided by NCTR
- Business expenses will be reimbursed per company policy
