About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will generate new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads for Mindgruve’s sales team. The BDR will focus on the early stages of the sales cycle, identifying potential customers through outreach like cold calls, emails, and social media, and setting up meetings for senior business development team members and executives to close deals. This role is crucial in building a healthy sales pipeline and driving revenue growth for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
  • Outreach: Contacting prospects through cold calls, emails, social media and other methods.
  • Lead Qualification: Engaging with potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for Mindgruve's products and/or services.
  • Meeting Setting: Scheduling and arranging meetings for senior business development team members and company executives to move the qualified leads further down the sales funnel.
  • Discovery and Research: Conduct research to identify potential clients and understand their business needs. Gather and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client insights to support sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work with the sales team members and Mindgruve department leads to develop compelling and tailored proposals that address client needs and showcase our services.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing presentations, sales collateral, and other materials needed for client meetings and pitches. Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Coordinate and schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups with potential clients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update sales documentation, including client contacts, proposal status, and meeting notes. Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 ½ - 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a performance marketing, retail media agency or commerce focused agency.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and retail media concepts and strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Apple, Google, Microsoft software applications.
  • HubSpot proficiency or similar CRM.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Available to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) from one of our six office locations in the US: San Diego, California, Los Angeles, California, Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay

Non-Exempt: $25 - $35 per hour (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate. The compensation range reflects base rate only.) Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
