Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed annual sales quota goal and required activity goals and metrics as stipulated by the manager or in the Sales Compensation Plan incentive agreement
- Qualify inbound leads and prospects from marketing or other sources and ensure successful pass off to the appropriate team member
- Implement high-volume outreach strategies or campaigns to proactively generate interest and initiate contact with prospects for the sales team, including market research, outbound calls, emails, social media engagements, or other prospecting methods
- Refine and adapt prospecting tactics and value proposition as company, industry, competition or sales practices change
- Make strong connections and rapport with prospects to create urgency, excitement and enthusiasm for ImageTrend solutions
- Track and report all activities, maintaining accurate records of interactions in Salesforce, or other required systems, and provide insights to help improve outreach efforts
- Act as a company ambassador with high integrity and professionalism to support lead development and strengthen relationships with ImageTrend clients, prospects, partners, and other external audiences
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and all other external or internal stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, retain clients, escalate issues to appropriate teams, and share best practices
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, including but not limited to recurring team meetings, trainings and 1:1’s with leadership, territory or pipeline reviews, Community Updates, Product or cross-functional updates and other meetings as required
- Adhere to departmental standards, workflows, SLA’s and other metrics or processes as required
- Travel to orientation, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as required
- Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Some college-level coursework or professional certification in business, marketing, communications or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proven track record in driving successful sales growth as a Business Development Representative or similar position, or direct industry experience in Fire, EMS or healthcare with a strong desire to pursue a career in sales
- Strong understanding of lead generation strategies and sales processes
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders and decision makers
- Displays positive attitude, confidence and resilience when faced with obstacles and performing repetitive tasks
- Able to quickly identify suitability based on standard parameters and guidelines provided
- Strong technical aptitude to learn new systems and exposure to MS Office Suite, CRM, Hubspot or other similar sales technologies tools
- Proven to be a motivated self-starter and work independently within a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
- Time management and organizational skills, the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and can adjust and adapt to changing priorities
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Able to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
- Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
- Able to travel as required, up to 10%
Pay
The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $45,000 - $65,000 USD + commission incentive eligibility + benefits + perks + community gains. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, education or training and other relevant qualifications.
