About the role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the local market. This individual will work closely with existing clients to expand their services and increase revenue streams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market
- Work closely with existing clients to expand their services and increase revenue streams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through networking and outreach activities
- Present company products and services to potential clients and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals
- Manage client accounts and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Experience in cold calling and prospecting
- Knowledge of CRM systems and software
