Business Development Representative
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Guidewheel. Guidewheel is a fast-growing start-up dedicated to empowering factories worldwide to achieve sustainable peak performance. Our mission is to provide real-time, automated, and smart visibility into factory operations, helping manufacturers improve productivity by up to 2X while reducing energy costs and emissions by 15-20%. As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in sourcing new business opportunities and driving revenue through outbound prospecting.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and other channels
- Driving revenue by hitting daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Partnering with marketing, sales, customer success, and revenue operations teams to fuel our growth
- Managing a growing volume of accounts in a fast-paced, high activity environment
- Being the first point of contact for our customers and serving as our ultimate advocate
- Tracking and running experiments to continuously improve the conversion funnel
- Asking targeted and thoughtful questions to reveal value and build a point of view to qualify customer needs and overcome objections
- Using technology to manage a high volume of prospects and make data-driven decisions for time prioritization
- Partnering directly with and learning from experienced Account Executives by shadowing meetings you schedule
Requirements
- 1+ year of cold calling or similar experience with a track record of over-delivering on goals and objectives
- Thriving in a competitive, goal-oriented environment where you look beyond the bare minimum and are always finding ways to exceed expectations
- Highly enjoys being in a dynamic sales environment and excels in front of customers on a daily basis

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with change as a constant and has a knack for creativity

- Familiar with outbound engine technology tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, G-Suite, and others
- Extremely organized with superb attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and driven - eager to be part of a fast-growing SaaS company, set high standards, and deliver world-class results, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as needed in a startup environment

Pay
Annual on-target earnings for this role are in the range of $50,000-$70,000, dependent on many factors and our internal compensation and role bands.
